Lucas is a graduate in Ecology and Conservation Biology from the University of Leeds. In his final year, he studied the integration of science and art as a method of communication and outreach. He is the PMRGCAuk Northern Outreach Lead for the NIHR funded project, working in conjunction with the University of Leeds, investigating the barriers to diagnosis of PMR in the North of England – the PMR Paradox. Lucas has a strong foundation in outreach and research, and is passionate about addressing social injustices, as well as climate and urban issues.
